Medical Warning: Glow is for cosmetic and informational use only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
1. Acceptance
By using Glow, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Eligibility
You must be legally able to accept these Terms in your jurisdiction.
3. No Medical Practice
Glow does not practice medicine, dermatology, or healthcare. Glow may be inaccurate or incomplete and may fail to detect serious skin conditions, including melanoma or other diseases. Always consult a licensed physician for health concerns.
4. Biometric Consent
By selecting the in-app consent checkbox and proceeding to scan, you authorize processing of your biometric face data as described in the Privacy Policy.
5. User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for your skincare decisions, including patch testing, ingredient compatibility, and use of any products.
6. Subscriptions
Payments and subscription management are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play. Cancellation, renewal, and refund handling are governed by those store policies.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GLOW IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GLOW AND ITS OWNERS, AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR PERSONAL INJURY, SKIN REACTIONS, ALLERGIC REACTIONS, FAILURE TO DETECT MEDICAL CONDITIONS, OR LACK OF RESULTS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO GLOW IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO GLOW IN THE PREVIOUS 12 MONTHS OR (B) USD $50.
9. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Glow and its owners, affiliates, licensors, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of Glow or violation of these Terms.
10. Binding Arbitration and Class Action Waiver
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you and Glow agree to resolve disputes through individual binding arbitration and waive any right to participate in class, collective, or representative actions. Jury trial rights are waived where permitted.
This section does not apply where prohibited by law, and eligible claims may be brought in small claims court.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
12. Suspension or Termination
We may modify, suspend, or terminate app features or access at any time, including for legal, abuse, or security reasons.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
